Optimize for non-Webflow sites

Performance snapshot

Updated

Understand overall site impact and compare against what-if scenarios.

The performance snapshot gives you a high-level view of your optimization impact across your entire site. It shows results for your selected goal and date range — including variation performance and the base site. You can refine the view with filters, explore traffic and conversion trends, and compare outcomes to simulated what-if scenarios.

Refine your results

The data covers the last 30 days by default. You can adjust the results with the options at the top:

  • Date range — choose from preset ranges or set a custom range
  • Goal picker — switch between account goals — if you have multiple
  • Filters — narrow results by audience, region, device type, and more

Metrics

The metrics card gives you a sitewide, unfiltered view of performance for the selected goal. It includes results from both optimizations and the base site across the selected date range.

Click the ROI simulator link below the metrics to explore how your actual results compare to alternative scenarios.

ROI simulator

The ROI simulator uses real optimization data to estimate how your site might have performed under different conditions. You can switch between them or set one as your default view.

Original site — what if you never ran optimizations?

An algorithm imagines a version of your website where 100% of traffic converted at the same conversion rate of your No Change variations and personalize optimization variations.

Only A/B — what if you only leveraged test optimizations with an even traffic split?

An algorithm imagines a version of your website where all live variations (except variations in a personalize optimization) had received an evenly split of traffic, like in a fixed A/B test.

Untested ideas — what if you didn’t have a way to test ideas, so you edit the base site directly each time you had a new idea to test?

An algorithm selects variations and imagines a version of your website where these ideas were added to the base site for all visitors to see.

Good to know

The ROI simulator requires at least 25 days of data and 5,000 sessions to display results.

Performance over time

The performance chart shows how your conversion rate and other metrics changed over time to explore trends.

  • Mouse over a data point to view specific values
  • Toggle between daily/weekly and cumulative views to see overall impact

Live optimizations

The live optimizations chart shows how many optimizations are currently running and how they’re distributed across optimization types. Hover over the bar to see how many optimizations fall under each type.

Strongest variations

This section highlights top-performing variations based on the strength metric — a measure of how likely a variation is to keep outperforming the original. Consider using these insights to inform your next set of ideas.

Opportunities

Once you've integrated Salesforce and synced the Stage, Amount, and Closed fields, you can see how your optimizations are influencing pipeline activity across open and closed-won deals. Click the opportunities card to view matched accounts and their funnel stage.

  • Trending industries — shows which industries are most active on your site by session count
  • Opportunity stage — breaks down funnel activity by stage to highlight where engagement is strongest

Accounts

If Enhanced Match is enabled for your account, it can associate visitors with their companies to provide you with company-level insights. The accounts table shows which target accounts are visiting, converting, and potentially ready for outreach.

  • Up to 1,000 matched companies are shown
  • Data reflects the date range selected at the top of the snapshot
  • If no matches appear, expand the date range or integrate with 6sense or Demandbase to improve match accuracy

Good to know

You can integrate with Salesforce to see Stage and Amount values per company.

Traffic sources and device types

Use these charts to see how visitors are arriving at your site and which devices they’re using.

  • Hover over a source to see detailed metrics for that source
  • Click the Chart icon or Table icon to switch between views
  • Choose different metrics from the dropdown (e.g., conversion rate, session count, or total value)

Traffic sources — shows where your visitors are coming from before they land on your site. This can help you decide which marketing campaigns to emphasize in your variation messaging. Learn how each source is identified.

Device types — displays the types of devices people use to view your site (e.g., mobile, desktop, tablet). This can help you test or personalize based on popular devices. For example, if you had a big mobile device audience, your variations might target mobile users or include messaging that speaks to an “on-the-go” mindset.
