Optimize for non-Webflow sites

Exclude IP addresses from your results

Updated

Remove internal traffic to keep your optimization data clean.

If people at your company regularly visit your website, their activity can skew your optimization results — especially if you're using AI Optimize. You can exclude IP addresses for office networks, remote employees, or vendors to make sure you're only analyzing real visitor behavior.

Add IP addresses to the exclusion list

Note

Visitors from excluded IPs can still see variations, but their site activity won't be recorded or influence the AI.

Open your Optimize site in Webflow, then:

  1. Click Account settings in the Navigation panel
  2. Go to IP Address Exclusion
  3. Click Add for your first IP address, or click Edit > New entry to add more
  4. Enter an IP address (e.g., 255.255.0.0) or a 24-bit subnet (e.g., 255.255.0)
  5. Click New entry to add more addresses
  6. Click Save
