Notes let you capture context that might be helpful to teammates — or to your future self. Add a note to describe your hypothesis, explain what a variation is testing, or document an external factor (like a campaign or sale) that may affect performance. Notes can help tell the full story when you’re reviewing results later.

Notes are visible to anyone who has access to your Optimize site.
How to add or edit notes
Open your Optimize site in Webflow, then:
- Click Optimizations in the Navigation panel
- Click an optimization to view it
- Go to Notes in the right panel
- Click into the Notes field
- Enter your comments
- Click Save
