Connect external data sources to enrich visitor context and improve targeting.
You can integrate Clearbit Reveal or RollWorks to gain deeper insights about who’s visiting your site. These services can supply firmographic data — like company size, industry, and revenue — that you can use to refine your targeting or filter results.
Before you get started
Make sure your provider’s snippet loads before the Optimize snippet so Optimize can access the data during the page load.

How to leverage Clearbit or RollWorks data in Optimize
Important
Because these services return inferred data, values may not be 100% accurate or immediately available. We recommend filtering on high or very-high confidence values when creating targeting rules.
Once the integration is set up and your data is flowing into Optimize, you can use the imported attributes to gain audience insights and create tailored content. For example, you might show different messaging based on industry, highlight different pricing tiers based on company size, or remove friction for enterprise users in late-stage buying cycles.
- Refine results — filter your optimization results by firmographic details to review granular metrics
- Target visitors — create audiences based on firmographic details to target visitors with personalized variations
- Dynamic content — insert variables into variations that show different values based on who the visitor is
- Train AI Optimize — help it understand what resonates with different types of visitors by sending custom attributes
Note
Optimize can only act on data that’s available before the snippet loads. If the data loads asynchronously, it may not be usable on the first pageview.
