Boost enhanced match with Demandbase data to improve targeting and insights.
Integrating Demandbase with Optimize enhances your enhanced match results by expanding the database used to identify anonymous visitors. This improves match rates and unlocks deeper insights into which companies are engaging with your site. You can use Demandbase data to build rules-based audiences for targeting, filter your results by firmographic attributes, and see which variations resonate most with key visitor segments.
Good to know
The Demandbase integration automatically imports these fields: Annual Sales, Audience, Audience Segment, Company Name, Employee Count, Employee Range, Industry, Marketing Alias, Revenue Range, and Website.
Generate a Demandbase API token
Important
Don’t generate a token from Settings > My Profile > API token. That token — beginning with demandbase_ — won't work to authorize the integration. Use the steps below instead.
To generate a Demandbase API token, first start in Demandbase:
- Click the Settings icon
- Go to the Settings panel
- Select Demandbase-Wide Settings > Account Connector
- Click Create New Integration
- Select Intellimize in the Integration name dropdown
- You can import additional fields with the Search Field(s) dropdown
- Select Server side
- Click Create
- Go to the General tab
- Click Generate API token
Note
The Webflow Optimize integration is listed as "Intellimize." If Intellimize isn't listed in the Integration name dropdown, please contact Demandbase to enable it.
Copy the API token after it's approved
Demandbase's Professional Services team will review your integration setup, then email you when it's approved. This is typically completed within 24 hours. Once you receive their email, copy the token within Demandbase:
- Click the Settings icon
- Go to the Settings panel
- Select Demandbase-Wide Settings > Account Connector
- Go to the General tab
- Click the Copy icon next to the API token
Add your API token to Optimize
Open your Optimize site in Webflow, then:
- Click Account settings in the Navigation panel
- Go to Integrations > Demandbase
- Choose Set up
- Enter your Demandbase API token in the API token section
- Click Save
Note
It may take a few minutes to sync Demandbase data to Webflow Optimize.
Import Demandbase segments (optional)
A Demandbase segment is a group of accounts, people, opportunities, or activities that share common traits. Segments don't import by default. You can enable each segment you want to import from the Demandbase Account Connector page:
- Click the Settings icon
- Go to the Settings panel
- Choose Demandbase-Wide Settings > Account Connector
- Search for "Segment" to see a list of your segments in the Fields list
- Choose the segments you want to import to Webflow
Note
It may take a few hours to sync the imported segments.
