Manage which members get email alerts.
Email alerts keep team members in the loop when something’s off — like a drop in traffic or conversions — so you can fix issues fast. Workspace Owners and Site Admins can turn them off for teammates who don’t need those updates, like occasional collaborators or stakeholders.
Optimize sends email alerts when:
- There’s a significant drop in traffic to an active experience
- A goal event tied to an active experience shows a significant drop in conversions compared to the previous week
How to turn on or off alerts
From the Webflow dashboard:
- Hover over your Optimize site
- Click the Optimize settings icon
- Click Site access in the left panel
- Toggle Alerts to the On or OFF position
How to get alerts in Slack
You can configure email alerts to be sent to Slack by using a Slack email address. These alerts will show up as messages in your Slack workspace.
- Create a Slack email address using Slack’s help guide
- Add that Slack email address as a new Optimize site member and toggle on Alerts
Stopping alerts for inactive optimizations or goals
Alerts are tied to active optimizations and goal events. If you want to stop receiving alerts, take these actions:
- Inactive experiences — pause all variations to stop alerts
- Inactive goal events — remove the goal event from all active goals to stop alerts
