Optimize for non-Webflow sites

Optimize site dashboard overview

Updated

Learn how to navigate and use the Optimize site dashboard effectively.

The Optimize site dashboard is your hub for managing integrations with third-party services, Optimize settings, landing pages, optimizations, and more. It's where you access the visual editor to preview website pages and build variations, and it's where you'll review analytics to measure your CRO impact.

To access your Optimize site dashboard, log in to Webflow and click the Optimize site tile in your Webflow Workspace. Use the Navigation Panel on the left to switch between the different areas of the Optimize site dashboard, which we'll cover below.

Performance snapshot

The performance snapshot gives you a big-picture view of how your optimization efforts are impacting your website. Gain insights into visitor engagement, identify which accounts are visiting, and explore how your results compare to common what-if scenarios using the ROI simulator. Uncover which ideas resonate most with your audience — and use that knowledge to craft even more impactful variations.

Optimizations

This is where you manage your optimizations and review their results. The first page you see is a list of optimizations you've created with some key metrics to give you a sense of how they're performing.

  • Highlight metrics — show traffic, conversion rate, leads, and revenue over the past 30 days
  • Status tabs — filter by optimization status (e.g., live, draft, archived)
  • Group by — group by page or status
  • Columns — customize displayed data

Note

Click an optimization to see an individual optimization's configuration, variations, and detailed results.

Optimization-level configuration

This is where you can manage an optimization's variations (e.g., add, edit, pause, etc.) and configuration.

  • Add variation — create a new variation
  • Drafts — never before launched variations are at the top, where you can launch or edit them
  • Variations — launched variations are listed next, where you can view results and edit, pause, or preview them
  • Configuration — edit settings like pages, goals, audiences, and the optimization's name
  • Notes — leave notes for your teammates (e.g., why you changed the goal or when a marketing event occurred)

Optimization-level results

Results for optimizations that have received traffic show per variation, with additional insights below them.

  • View key metrics — including sessions, conversions, conversion rate, and either statistical significance or strength
  • Refine your view — filter by goal, date range, or audience attributes
  • Explore additional insights — dig into audience and account engagement, performance trends, and traffic allocation

Landing pages

This is a dedicated area where you can create fully customizable landing pages based on existing site pages. You can modify these template pages using the visual editor or with custom code, and even use AI to generate ideas. Each landing page has a unique URL you can share via email, SMS, or ads.

Components

This is where you create and manage reusable components that are leveraged by optimizations.

  • Events — used by goals, these are digital actions users can take (e.g., clicks, views, form submissions)
  • Pages — define site pages so that Optimize knows where optimizations run and events occur
  • Audiences — used by optimizations as targeting rules for specific visitor segments

Change history

Get a transparent view of all changes related to your optimizations — e.g., when a variation is launched, paused, or archived. Use change history to troubleshoot unexpected behavior or analyze what may have driven lifts or drops in performance. Learn more about the change history.
