Duplicate an existing variation to reuse or iterate on changes.
When you clone a variation, a new variation is created with all the same changes as the original. You can modify the clone independently — any changes you make won’t affect the original.
How to clone a variation
Open your Optimize site in Webflow, then:
- Click Optimizations in the Navigation panel
- Click the optimization
- Hover over a variation and click the Options icon > Edit
- Hover over the variation in the Variations panel
- Click the Options icon > Clone
- Rename the cloned variation in the Variations panel
- Make your edits
- Click Save at the bottom
- Preview your variation before launching it
