Optimize for non-Webflow sites

Delete an optimization draft

Updated

Learn how to remove draft optimizations you no longer need.

If you created an optimization by accident or were testing out ideas that you no longer want to keep, you can delete it to reduce clutter in your Optimize dashboard. This helps keep your list of optimizations focused on what’s active or planned.

Requirements

You can only delete optimizations that have never been launched — these are called drafts. That means no variations within the optimization have ever gone live. If the optimization has already launched, even briefly, you won’t be able to delete it.

How to delete a draft optimization

Open your Optimize site in Webflow, then:

  1. Click Optimizations in the Navigation panel
  2. Click the draft optimization you want to delete
  3. Click Actions > Delete Optimization
  4. Click Delete to confirm

Note

Once deleted, the optimization is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
