Unpublish a landing page temporarily or permanently — depending on your needs.
You can pause a landing page at any time to take it offline. While paused, the landing page is unpublished and any traffic to its URL is redirected to the template URL page (i.e., the original page the landing page is based on).
When to pause a landing page
- Preview edits — Pause the page before making major edits so you can preview changes before visitors see them
- Temporarily offline — Remove the page from your live marketing flow without losing your changes
- Prepare to archive — Pages must be paused before you can archive them
How to pause a landing page
Open your Optimize site in Webflow, then:
- Click Landing Pages in the Navigation panel
- Select your landing page
- Click Pause > Pause
Note
While paused, traffic to the landing page's URL is redirected to the template URL page.
Archive or delete a landing page
You can archive a landing page if it has received traffic, or delete it if it has not. Both actions permanently remove the page from your list of active pages, and traffic to the landing page's URL will be redirected to the template URL page.
Important
A landing page that received traffic can only be archived. One that never received traffic can be deleted. Neither action can be undone, but you can clone an archived page to reuse its content.
To archive a landing page
Open your Optimize site in Webflow, then:
- Click Landing Pages in the Navigation panel
- Select a paused landing page
- Click Actions > Archive > Archive
To delete a landing page
Open your Optimize site in Webflow, then:
- Click Landing Pages in the Navigation panel
- Select a landing page that hasn't receive traffic
- Click Actions > Delete Page > Delete
