Set an account time zone

Updated

Lock in a time zone to ensure consistent metrics for all teammates.

Take the guesswork out of data reviews by locking your Optimize dashboard to a shared time zone. Whether your team is global or just spread across a few time zones, setting a standard ensures everyone sees the same results — at the same time.

Why set a time zone?

Without a shared time zone, every person sees data based on their local clock. For example, if you're in California and a teammate is in New York, your day ends 3 hours later — so your dashboards may appear out of sync. Setting a time zone ensures everyone views metrics on the same timeline, regardless of location.

A consistent time zone also helps if you're comparing data with third-party analytics tools. If those tools use a different time zone, and you haven’t set one in your dashboard, your metrics may not align — making it harder to verify or analyze performance across systems.

How to set a time zone

Open your Optimize site in Webflow, then:

  1. Click Account settings in the Navigation panel
  2. Go to Time Zone
  3. Click the Edit icon
  4. Choose a time zone
  5. Click the Confirm icon

Note

This setting only affects how metrics are displayed in dashboards. It doesn’t alter the underlying event timestamps.
